The most peaceful, restorative, comfortable and clean AirBNB we have stayed in. We only wish we could have stayed longer—with so many things to see around Normandy, we didn’t have enough time to just hang out with the donkeys, pick cherries off the tree and read a book in the hammock. Everything you could possibly need, from a fully stocked kitchen, to cosmetic kits. Limor is a friendly and proactive host. We can’t recommend this place enough and hope to return.

Incredible place and the best Airbnb we have stayed. Beautiful surroundings, wonderful house and brilliant hosts!
Set in a lovely part of Normandy, the house is designed so well and to a very high (and stylish!) level. Limor and Romain were the best hosts- so great with communication and always at hand to help or provide local recommendations (Limor sent us a comprehensive local guide prior to us arriving). There’s so much to do nearby but it’s also great to relax around the house. We had 4 young kids with us and they had a brilliant time too- there were lots of toys for them there. There’s even a sauna now they’ve just installed.
We will be back soon!

Wow! This is one of the best places we have stayed in 12 years of AirBnb. The level of detail and thoughtfulness in Limor’s home is next level. The home is stunning, and the patio and view is the perfect. Our two boys loved feeding the donkeys and the outdoor swing. The perfect relaxing and peaceful getaway. If you are in Normandy book here.

A very beautiful and spacious house, and an extremely friendly, helpful and considerate host. The house is situated in the stunningly beautiful hills of the Pays d’Auge. It is very lovingly designed and decorated and also has a well equipped kitchen. The garden is very pretty as well, you can either sit on the large terrace or in the deckchairs beneath the fruit trees and watch the sunset. The donkeys are great, and will greet you whenever you arrive back at the house after a trip.
The nearest town, Pont l‘Eveque, is close enough to get there on the bikes you can rent via Limor and has a big supermarket and many pretty little shops. The house is also a good starting point for all the sights in Normandy as the highway can be reached in just a few minutes by car.
We had a wonderful time and hope to come back soon!

If you've ever dreamed of living in the French countryside- this is it! Staying here was like being in a Hollywood movie. We came to France to tour Normandy, the Memorial and the beaches and we were so glad we stayed here instead of in Bayou. It was worth a little extra travel. And don't miss Mont Saint Michel. We went went later in the day to watch the sunset there and see it at night. Absolutely magical. Limor was so thoughtful and helpful to us. She even went grocery shopping for us when we couldn't get the delivery system to work. The cottage is beautiful, immaculate, warm and welcoming, peaceful and quiet. The linens, bedding, towels all top quality- exceptional. Every detail has been thought of- dripping with French charm! Even the stars at night were perfect. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Le Clos du Haut is an enchanting haven from which to enjoy the charm of Normandie. My six week stay could not have been more perfect.
My friends and family enjoyed so many good times during our stay. We created memories that will last a lifetime.
Limor was so helpful in recommending amazing places to visit and making reservations where we enjoyed incredible meals.
Our stay was over late summer and early fall. The guesthouse deck was the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine and then enjoy dinner with a view of amazing sunsets and the changing season.
Limor and Romain have thought of everything to make Le Clos du Haut feel like home. It is nothing short of extraordinary.
Limor and Romain don’t just host you; their genuine kindness makes you feel like you found a second home where memories blossom and friendships are born.
